Give Appreciated Securities
Thank you for your interest in supporting Winsor with a gift of securities.
Donating appreciated securities (stocks, bonds and mutual fund shares held for at least a year and a day) is a tax-advantaged way to make a gift to Winsor. You are entitled to a charitable deduction on the fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift, and there are no capital gains tax on the appreciation.
To ensure proper tracking, receipt, and acknowledgment of your stock gift, please contact Jessica Schwinn via email jschwinn@winsor.edu, or phone, 617-912-1375, with these details:
- Name of stock to be donated
- Number of shares
- Date of the transfer
- Estimated value
- Stock Transfer Instructions

Make a Corporate Matching Gift
If your (or your spouse's) employer has a matching gift program, your gift to Winsor may be doubled or even tripled. Contact your employer’s human resources department to see if your company participates, or use our online search tool to see if your employer will match your gifts to Winsor.
