The Libby Parsley Endowed Fund for Faculty

At Winsor, Kerry and Brendan Swords P’23, ’27 saw firsthand the impact of skilled teachers in their daughters’ lives through the lasting influence of longtime History Faculty Libby Parsley. In honor of Ms. Parsley, the Swords created the Libby Parsley Endowed Fund for Faculty to support teaching faculty members who elect to devote themselves to professional development related to a specific curricular initiative for the development of competency in a particular area. Examples might include research and development of an advisory curriculum, pedagogical training, new technologies to enhance classroom instruction, research on girls’ education, or discipline-specific enrichment.
