Winsor Travels to Florida to Celebrate Community and Winsor Leads Campaign Progress

Over March spring break, Winsor leaders traveled to Florida to connect with alumnae, parents, and friends, building momentum for the Winsor Leads Campaign and celebrating the enduring strength of the Winsor community.
On Wednesday, March 19, Winsor alumnae gathered at the Fort Lauderdale home of Lee Thorndike Sprague ’58 for a warm and engaging evening. Joined by President of the Board of Trustees Allison Kaneb Pellegrino ’89, P’21, ’22 and Chief Advancement Officer Erika McMahon, the gathering provided an opportunity to reflect on Winsor’s legacy, discuss the transformative impact of philanthropy, and rally support for the school’s future.
The following evening, on Thursday, March 20, Winsor parents, alumnae, and friends joined Head of School and O’Donnell Family Chair Sarah Pelmas, Allison Kaneb Pellegrino, and Erika McMahon for a special cocktail reception in the East Garden of the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. This gathering celebrated the remarkable progress of the Winsor Leads Campaign, which has now surpassed $73 million toward its $100 million goal. Guests also heard about Winsor’s bright future under new leadership, as well as the exciting opportunities ahead to shape the school for generations to come.
As we look toward the final months of the school year, we are also preparing to celebrate Sarah Pelmas’ nine years of leadership as she concludes her tenure as head of school this June. Sarah has played an essential role in advancing Winsor’s mission, and we look forward to honoring her legacy.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Florida events and for your continued support of Winsor’s mission. Your generosity ensures that Winsor remains a place where young women thrive, exceptional teachers inspire, and the doors remain open to the most promising students—regardless of financial circumstances. Together, we are shaping Winsor’s next chapter.
